Puhutaan puusta Discussion Club 19.01.2021
In January at Puhutaan puusta (Let’s Discuss Wood) discussion club we discussed about the reality of wood with Sofie Pelsmakers. In her introductory presentation she brought out 10 points for more sustainable wood construction.

Crystallizations

Puhutaan puusta
Puhutaan puusta (Let’s Discuss Wood) is a collaboration between the Museum of Finnish Architecture and the Ministry of the Environment of Finland. The aim of the club is to create an arc of interesting discussions that concentrate on a vast variety of topics, from the forest and its mystical levels to the horizon of the future tree visions.The series is curated by architect Pekka Pakkanen.
During the spring season Puhutaan puusta Discussion club gathers five times. In each discussion wood is discussed from a new perspective. Experts from researchers to artists have been invited to present each topic.
Video recordings of the introductory presentations can be viewed here on this page and on the Youtube channel of the Museum of Finnish Architecture. In addition to the video recordings, we will publish three crystallizations from each discussion.
